A great Indian restaurant in Geelong city, Victoria. The location of the hotel is overlooking the bay and the giant wheel close to the pier. The food taste quality and service very good. The chefs recommendation are definitely worth trying.
We decided on takeaway and started with the Onion Pakoras, which were crispy and had the perfect balance of cumin, coriander, and a hint of chili. The mint chutney added a refreshing contrast, enhancing the spice without being overpowering.Next, we enjoyed the Paneer with relish. The paneer was smooth and tender, absorbing the tangy, spiced relish. The dish was straightforward and flavorful, showcasing the texture of their well made Indian cheese. For the main, the Madras Curry was superb. The lamb was tender, the sauce was fragrant, with layers of warmth from the mustard seeds, curry leaves, and tamarind. The heat was balanced with the deep flavors of dried red chilies and a rich, aromatic base that’s characteristic of South Indian cuisine. It nicely captured the bold, complex profile of Madras-style cooking.Geelong’s Indian Spice Restaurant surprised with each dish we bought capturing the taste of regional Indian cooking. Highly recommended 👍👍
Absolutely loved our dinner at Eastern Spice. The flavours were rich and authentic — you can really tell they use quality ingredients. The waterfront location adds such a relaxing vibe to the whole experience. We had the lamb rogan josh and the fish curry — both were packed with flavour. The staff was attentive without being overbearing. Definitely coming back! One of the best Indian restaurants I've been to in Geelong. The menu has a great balance of classic and modern dishes, and everything we tried was spot on. The paneer tikka was beautifully charred and full of flavour. Portions were just right, and the presentation was elegant. Perfect spot for a nice night out by the waterfront .
Had dinner here recently and I must say I'm very disappointed. Serving of butter chicken was so small. 4 tiny bits of chicken swimming in sauce. Thank goodness for the rice to soak up the sauce. Also the lemonade I had was flat. Tastless so sorry... was expecting something really delicious. But sadly no...
The Scallops coconut curry is amazing! Really love it, scallops cooked soft and tender, and the curry sauce matches with the naan very nicely. Waitress here was very friendly. Would be more lovely if put candle on the table.
